NEW ZEALAND 15 FIJI 12
New Zealand have scraped into the final of the International Rugby Board sevens rugby tournament in Los Angeles today after beating Fiji 15-12 in the semifinal.
New Zealand play Argentina in the final.
It took a try from Rudi Wulf after the fulltime siren had blown for New Zealand to claw themselves into the final after Fiji had led throughout today's semifinal.
Fiji were up 12-0 at halftime, but Nathaniel Walker scored early in the second half for New Zealand while captain Matua Parkinson crossed in the last minute to close the gap to 12-10.
Manager Ross Everiss said Justin Walker took the ball near halfway from the kickoff, broke two tackles and ran 30m before being hauled down.
New Zealand retained possession and Wulf received the final pass to dot down after the fulltime whistle to seal the cliffhanger match 15-12.
