The auction of the Canterbury rugby team's jerseys for the earthquake fund finishes today and the one worn by Sonny Bill Williams is still leading the bidding war.
The rugby union is selling the team's jerseys from the match against Wellington on September 25 on Trade Me - each is signed by the player who wore it.
So far Williams' jersey is sitting on $5,050 with Sean Maitland's attracting $1060 dollars.
Questions on Williams' auction ask whether he comes with the shirt - the union's reply a simple "no sorry - we need him to help win the ITM cup."
The auctions close just after 3.30pm today.
