There is a fresh look to the Counties Manukau Steelers' squad named for next month's ITM Cup.
Coaches Tana Umaga, Grant Henson and Glen Rowe have named 10 players new to the province in their 32-man squad.
Steelers stalwarts of recent times not involved, mostly through overseas contracts, are Bundee Aki, Rey Lee-Lo, Ronald Raaymakers and Sherwin Stowers. Tim Nanai-Williams is in Manu Samoa's RWC squad. Sonny Bill Williams is named, but his chances of playing are not high, given the likelihood of All Blacks duty.
Six have previously played for Auckland, including hooker Gafatasi Sua, who transferred at the end of 2014. First five Piers Francis has impressed for the Bombay club and is in the Chiefs wider training group, while Nathan de Thierry is one of the leading scorers in Counties Manukau club play.
Other new faces include 2013 NZ Schools centre Johnny Fa'auli, who was loaned from Canterbury, though he played his First XV rugby for the gun 2013 St Kentigern side, and former Southland Stags and Chiefs squad member Cardiff Vaega.
