KEY POINTS:
Prop Ben May and midfield back Joel Iggo will play their third season for Tasman next year after both players extended their contracts for a further year.
May cited the opportunity to be coached by Todd Blackadder as playing a big part in his decision to stay with Tasman despite attracting interest from other unions.
Despite being picked up in this week's Super 14 draft by the Chiefs, May said he had an ambition to be a Crusader again and was keen to stay in the franchise region.
Iggo played eight Air New Zealand Cup games for Tasman this year and averaged 20 tackles per game.
"We are pleased to have Joel returning to us next year," Blackadder said.
"Through his professionalism, leadership and work ethic he provides a great example to our young backs of what is required to succeed at this level."
