The Tasman Makos will have two coaches in this year's rugby Air NZ Cup.
The Tasman Rugby Union today named local coaches Bevan Cadwallader and Kieran Keane as co-coaches.
Cadwallader has been the assistant coach of the Tasman Makos since the formation of the Tasman Rugby Union in 2006. Prior to the formation he had been the assistant coach of the Nelson Bays from 2002-2005.
He will continue in his role as manager of the Nelson-based rugby academy.
Keane has had an extensive background in coaching including numerous appointments to New Zealand Age grade representative teams, head coach of the Hawke's Bay NPC team 2002-2004.
Tasman Rugby chief executive Peter Barr said the union went through a very thorough process in selecting Cadwallader and Keane.
