Counties Manukau prop Simon Lemalu has been suspended for two weeks and Otago centre Brett Mather for a week on separate dangerous tackle charges.
They appeared before a NZRU judicial committee in Wellington yesterday after being cited in the Counties-North Harbour and Otago-Canterbury Air New Zealand Cup matches last weekend.
Lemalu was suspended until August 29, meaning he will miss Friday's game against Waikato and the following Thursday's match against Hawke's Bay.
