The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union and the New Zealand Rugby Union have confirmed details of an assistance package.
Bay union chairman Stu Harvey said the board had accepted an NZRU offer to bring in businessman Dennis Pickup as acting chief executive.
The NZRU will also make an early payment of its quarterly grant to the union which will enable it to meet its immediate working capital requirements.
