Auckland coach Pat Lam today made six changes to his starting 15 to face Southland in an Air NZ Cup rugby match in Invercargill on Saturday.
Lam has chosen to rest three of his frontline players in first five-eighth Isa Nacewa, and flankers Daniel Braid and Jerome Kaino, citing their workload so far this year.
In their place come Lachie Munro, Onosai'i Tololima-Auva'a and Angus Macdonald.
Former All Black Troy Flavell is in starting team after having his first appearance for Auckland from the bench against Waikato last weekend.
Lam has opted for former test prop Saimone Taumoepeau at hooker.
Veteran wing Doug Howlett and lock Ali Williams are unavailable due to All Blacks duty.
