KEY POINTS:
Canterbury halfback Tyson Keats has a rare chance to push for higher honours in this afternoon's Air New Zealand Cup clash with Manawatu in Christchurch.
Canterbury coach Rob Penney has handed Keats his run-on debut after a couple of appearances off the bench.
With Kevin Senio heading overseas next year, the 26-year-old rookie has an opportunity to possibly grab a Super 14 spot, but Keats is not looking that far ahead yet.
He says he has to make the most of his opportunities now and who knows what is going to happen down the track.
A bonus point win today will see Canterbury join Auckland at the top of the table on 24 points.
The match kicks off at 2.35.
