North Harbour showed superior staying power to beat Waikato 29-19 in an NPC warm-up rugby match in Hamilton today.
Waikato held North Harbour to 14-14 at halftime but the visitors' dangerous backs were a decisive factor in the second half as North Harbour exerted late dominance.
They scored four tries to three against a Waikato side, who arrived back in Hamilton only late last night following a training camp in Queensland.
