Canterbury referee Vinny Munro has been appointed to control the Air NZ Cup rugby final on November 7.
His appointment was announced today, with his assistants for the final, Jonathan White and Chris Pollock, named to officiate in this week's semifinals.
White will referee Canterbury's match against Hawke's Bay in Christchurch on Friday night, with Pollock to control the other semifinal 24 hours later between Wellington and Southland in Wellington.
The New Zealand Rugby Union also confirmed that Mike Fraser will referee the Meads Cup final between Mid Canterbury and Wanganui in Christchurch on Saturday.
James McPhail has been appointed to control the Lochore Cup final the same day between West Coast and North Otago in Greymouth.
