Counties player on dangerous tackle charge

Counties-Manukau prop Poaloi Taula will appear before a New Zealand Rugby Union judicial committee on a dangerous tackle charge on Wednesday.

He was cited by citing commissioner Mike O'Leary for an alleged dangerous tackle on Waikato's Sione Lauaki in the 24th minute of their Air New Zealand Cup in Hamilton on Saturday.

The hearing will take place at the NZRU headquarters in Wellington at 4pm.
