Counties go for experience

Counties Manukau have included all four players with Super 14 experience for the visit of Otago to Mt Smart Stadium tomorrow.

Halfback and captain Ben Meyer, who had three years of replacement roles at the Blues, teams up with experienced Blair Feeney behind the scrum, while Chiefs pair Niva Ta'auso and Lelia Masaga are the star backline attractions, and lock Kristian Ormsby, who has done time with the Hurricanes and the Chiefs, will be expected to lead the pack.

Otago coach Steve Martin has left All Black hooker Anton Oliver on the bench.

Three players will make their first appearances at this level tomorrow - prop Nigel Hall, lock Pelu Pavihi and wing Alipate Fatafehi.
