Bay of Plenty had a pleasing final dress rehearsal for their NPC first division rugby campaign by beating Japanese team Toyota 47-12 in Mt Maunganui today.
Beaten semifinalists last year, Bay of Plenty led 12-0 at halftime and eventually ran in seven tries.
Aleki Lutui and Hayden Reid each scored two tries for the winners.
