Young first five-eighth Luke McAlister wove some last-second magic to give North Harbour a surprise 31-27 rugby win over Waikato in Hamilton.
Waikato dominated the match for all but the last few minutes. They led 10-6 at halftime and, with 3 1/2 minutes left to play, were in front 27-17.
But then young replacement wing Rudolffe Wulf scored two tries for North Harbour, both converted by McAlister, to steal the game from the home side.
