North Harbour assistant coach steps down

Coach resigns Former All Black Gary Cunningham has stepped down as the assistant to North Harbour NPC rugby coach Russell Jones.

Cunningham said he was "extremely disappointed" in having to make the decision, but needed to give his full attention to business commitments.

Chief executive Doug Rollerson said North Harbour, who finished a distant seventh in last year's NPC, would advertise for a replacement. The expectation is to fill the position by the end of this month.
