Matt Giteau no longer feels like an "imposter" in the Wallaby ranks, but reckons a number of his team-mates were more deserving of being nominated for the International Rugby Board's player of the year award.
Giteau, who impressed at second five-eighth during the side's domestic programme, is one of five nominees for the award, which will be presented in London on November 28.
His competitors are Schalk Burger (South Africa), Serge Betsen (France), South African Marius Joubert and Ireland's Gordon D'Arcy.
