The biggest problem facing rugby right now is itself.
This here sink is rugby.
It's an absolute mess. We can all see that.
But rather than do what we all know should be done and clean it up, World Rugby would rather keep rinsing and re-using, letting It all pile up.
Now the craziest thing about all this is that even if the rest of us wanted to help clean up, we're not allowed. The only people who are work down that corridor there. This nameless, faceless bunch who never talk and only ever communicate through a 3rd party.
It gets even sillier too.
When the AB coach, a man of serious standing in the sport, speaks out and is ignored…well if World Rugby won't even listen to him then who on earth are they listening to?
In the end isn't it the governing body's responsibility to tackle these issues that everyone connected to the sport wants fixed? Because again, if not, then what is it exactly you overpaid lavish-lifestyle living fish-heads actually do, do?
Look it might even be as simple as taking the mess outta the sink and plate by plate, cup by cup reworking it all and seeing how it can fit back together and push the button … heh presto.
There's only one way forward from here and it's you World Rugby, hook into it ... (handing hand them a scrubby).
