Ireland-born first-five Ian McKinley has also been included in the Italy's rugby squad for the first time, after losing his sight six years ago following an accidental boot to the eye.
The Treviso number 10 plays with goggles after suffering the loss of sight while playing for Irish club side Leinster.
McKinley is among five uncapped players in the squad for games against Fiji, Argentina and South Africa, including former Highlanders and Hurricanes backline utility Jayden Hayward.
Hayward played two seasons each with the Highlanders and Canes between 2009 and 2012 before leaving for the Western Force.
He's been with Italian side Treviso since.
