WARATAHS V SAMOA
Warring NSW team-mates Matt Dunning and Des Tuiavii will go head to head when the Waratahs meet Samoa this week.
Prop Dunning allegedly broke flanker Tuiavii's nose in a fist fight as the Waratahs celebrated the end of their Super 12 season. Both will face a judicial hearing tomorrow night after Dunning returns from a two-match tour of Japan with Australia A.
Two days later Tuiavii packs down for the Samoans and Dunning features in the NSW front row.
Waratahs captain Matthew Burke is at fullback in the New South Wales team for the Aussie Stadium clash. Burke has been resting a knee injury since the end of the Super 12 season and Wallabies medical staff will check his fitness today.
NSW coach Bob Dwyer admitted he didn't know much about the current Samoan team but was fully aware of what the Islanders were capable of producing.
"They have great pace, agility and power and they are an extremely aggressive defensive team," he said. It will be Dwyer's last match in charge of NSW after his decision to step aside at the end of the Super 12 season.
