WELLINGTON - Canterbury B coach Rob Penney will appear before a New Zealand Rugby Football Union judicial panel in Wellington today after a complaint of verbal abuse.
Penney allegedly abused a match official when a Canterbury player was yellow-carded during the match against North Harbour B in Christchurch on Saturday.
Otago women's team prop Mata Piho will also appear before the judicial panel after being sent off for kicking a Wellington player during their match on Saturday.
A time and date for that hearing has yet to be set.
