The Black Ferns will face Canada in the final of the Canada Cup rugby tournament on Saturday (NZ time) after beating the hosts 43-3 in pool play in Ottawa.
They scored six tries, two by Hawke's Bay No 8 Marina Canterbury, who was playing only her second game for New Zealand.
The other tries came from Bay of Plenty midfield player Exia Shelford, Canterbury loose forward Melissa Ruscoe, Auckland utility back Hannah Myers and Canterbury fullback Stacey Lene.
Myers also kicked two penalties and a conversion for a personal tally of 13 points. Auckland first-five Nicole Borthwick kicked a conversion and penalty earlier.
"It was a night when the forwards excelled," coach Jed Rowlands said.
"I certainly cannot complain about their performance."
The Black Ferns led 20-0 at the break after tries by Shelford, Canterbury and Ruscoe and a conversion and penalty by Borthwick.
That momentum was carried into the second half to complete pool play unbeaten after victory over Scotland last week.
NZ 43 (Marina Canterbury 2, Exia Shelford, Melissa Ruscoe, Hannah Myers, Stacey Lene tries; Myers 2 pen, con; Nicole Borthwick pen, con), Canada 3. Halftime 20-0.
