The Black Ferns will face the hosts in the final of the Canada Cup tournament tomorrow after beating them 43-3 in pool play in Ottawa.
They scored six tries, two by Hawkes Bay No 8 Marina Canterbury, who was playing only her second game for New Zealand.
The others came from Bay of Plenty midfield player Exia Shelford, Canterbury loose forward Melissa Ruscoe, Auckland utility back Hannah Myers and Canterbury fullback Stacey Lene.
Myers kicked two penalties and a conversion for a tally of 13 points.
Auckland first-five Nicole Borthwick kicked a conversion and penalty earlier. "It was a match when the forwards excelled," coach Jed Rowlands said.
The Black Ferns led 20-0 at the break after tries by Shelford, Canterbury and Ruscoe, and a conversion and penalty by Borthwick. That momentum was carried into the second half to complete pool play unbeaten after victory over Scotland last week.
