Australia A east past French Barbarians

BORDEAUX, France - Fullback Cameron Sheperd kicked 17 points as Australia A beat the French Barbarians 42-12 in a tour match today.

The Barbarians, with French internationals Pepito Elhorga and Clement Poitrenaud in their starting 15, held the tourists to 23-12 in the first half before succumbing after the interval.

Sheperd kicked three penalties and four conversions.
