Another Auckland rugby player is on the move, but this time it is just temporary.
Lock Bryce Williams has been granted an early release from his ARFU and NZRU contract to play for Leinster Club in Ireland.
He leaves next week to take up a one-season deal and plans to return to New Zealand next July.
Williams said he is looking forward to experiencing life in a different country as well as a new style of rugby.
He said at 25 he has many years ahead of him and he hopes his time with Leinster will put him in good stead when he returns to New Zealand.
Auckland rugby CEO David White says it is a good opportunity for Williams and will assist in his playing and professional development.
