Overseas rugby fans, including South Africans and ex-Kiwis, writing to nzherald's Your Views, are dismayed by the weekend All Blacks performance and some are suggesting it's time for coach Graham Henry to go.
Frans from South Africa calls the Springboks-All Blacks clash the worst performance of the All Blacks he has seen in a long time.
"We always want to beat the All Blacks but would have much preferred if our victories came against a better side. For All Black rugby, it is simply not good enough."
Another South African detailed the All Blacks "awful decision-making, bad set pieces, taking too many chances and basic mistakes."
"Patience was never one of South Africa's strengths, but if you have run out of it with Henry and his staff, change now, and start planning for the next RWC.
"Burtfred," also from South Africa, believes the All Blacks' problem for years now, is that "they tend to award themselves the trophy before the tournament begins.
"They often underestimate their opposition - especially the French and the Springboks. Never underestimate a Springbok with a rugby ball in his hands. How Graham Henry gets to keep his job is a mystery to me."
Jimmy Chu in Victoria says while coaches can't be blamed for the dropped balls or the poor passes, they are responsible for the game plan.
From Queensland, Joe McDonald, didn't think the Springboks were outstanding but "they looked good against a badly coached and poor disciplined All Black side.
"Graham Henry has cost the All Blacks dearly by being loyal to out of form players. That loyalty is not being returned and the team surely does not listen to the coaches."
His advice: Sack the coaches, dump out of form players and lets start again or watch this space."
A former New Zealander watching from Melbourne was dismayed to watch the All Blacks run around aimlessly for 80mins with no game plan. He says it is getting to the point that the coaching staff don't seem to have any new ideas or any ideas for that matter and "are making the All Blacks look very ordinary, to say it nicely."
A Kiwi living in Canada, says we need to remind ourselves that this is the country's number one team, earning a decent living and therefore expected to deliver a decent level of skill, which isn't happening. He said that if players can't meet these basic expectations, they should be dumped.
