Luke McAlister has been named in the All Blacks in his favoured No 12 jersey to play the Wallabies on Saturday, with Ma'a Nonu paying the price for some indifferent recent form.
McAlister has shrugged off painful back spasms to train successfully at second five-eighth at a sun-drenched North Sydney Oval today, alongside talisman Daniel Carter who has alleviated any doubt about starting his first test of 2009 after an achilles tendon injury layoff.
