Former England centre Will Greenwood says Wales are a good chance to finally break their losing streak against the All Blacks when the two sides face off in a three-test series in June.
Writing a column of 2016 predictions for the Telegraph, Greenwood said Welsh players will be looking to impress ahead of next year's British and Irish Lions tour.
"Eight years ago I bet my mate Simon Price that Wales wouldn't beat New Zealand before I turned 60 and I'm actually quite nervous about this three-test series," wrote Greenwood, who turns 44 this year.
"New Zealand have said goodbye to a couple of hundred-cappers. Surely they can't hit the ground running and be as good as they were at the Rugby World Cup? Can they? Warren Gatland and Wales' players will be looking to lay down a marker ahead of the 2017 Lions trip."
Wales haven't beaten the All Blacks since 1953, losing the last 26 clashes against the World Champions. The closest they have come to breaking that drought was a 26-25 defeat in 2004.
