Who doesn't utter a gasp or some vocal amazement when Ardie Savea accelerates into the open?
The man has got gas and when he puts the foot down, not many players look like they can keep up with the versatile loose-forward. It got us thinking about the fastest All Blacks in their positions.
It's a subjective topic as many feel Michael Jones, before his horrendous knee injury at Athletic Park in 1989, was the fastest man in the black No 7 jersey. That will provoke others to throw Waka Nathan into the debate or Keith "Killer" Arnold from those who watched test rugby just after WW II.
Got us thinking. Who were the fastest All Blacks in their positions, who were the men who really gassed it?
