Spy: Ali Williams and Casey Green move to London

Former All Black lock Ali Williams has retired from professional rugby and moved from Toulon to London with his wife, Casey, and gorgeous 2-year-old daughter, Jessica.

The family arrived in France when Jessica was under 6 months and found living in the South of France blissful. Green recently wrote on social media: "It has been the best and hardest times of my life in France. Magic memories good and bad. Magic memories."

The bad, of course, was the recent death of Ali's great mate, Jerry Collins.

Williams had a successful time at French rugby giant Toulon. He walked away with winner's medals from the 2014 French Top 14 and European Cup. Earlier this year, Williams, who has played through many injuries, said his body had told him it was finally time to hang up his boots.

The couple have every reason to be upbeat and excited about their future.

Spy understands Williams, 34, will follow a similar career path to that of former All Black captain Sean Fitzpatrick. The 77-test veteran will work for a British broadcaster, as well as report for the Herald on Sunday during the upcoming Rugby World Cup in the UK.

Williams and Green were rugby's "it" couple during his time in the black jersey. That mantle has since been passed to Dan and Honor Carter and Richie McCaw and Gemma Flynn.

And as Carter and McCaw eye up their test swansongs at the World Cup, Spy reckons Hurricanes lock and new All Black squad member James Broadhurst, 27, and his gorgeous partner, yoga teacher Brooke Penny, have the goods to be our new golden couple.

Penny studied for a Bachelor of Education at Massey University. Last month, the couple were red-carpet ready and made a fetching picture at the Hurricanes' awards night in Wellington.
