New Zealand Rugby is set to secure the services of two of the country's brightest young talents, with reports emerging that Julian Savea and Brodie Retallick are set to re-sign with New Zealand Rugby for the next four years.
Fairfax are reporting that both Savea and Retallick will sign on to the 2019 World Cup, which would make them the first All Blacks to do so as New Zealand Rugby attempts to lock up the young core of their All Blacks side.
Savea possesses one of the best try-scoring strike rates in world rugby history, having dotted down 30 times in 33 games in the All Black jersey, including crossing the line 11 times last season alone.
Scorer of hat-tricks against Ireland on debut and England at Waikato Stadium, Savea has also crossed twice in a game on seven occasions, and was nominated for the 2014 World Rugby Player of the Year award.
That award was taken out by the other man snapped up long-term by New Zealand rugby, with the 23-year old Retallick having already captured the prized gong after playing 36 tests for the All Blacks.
