Family ties have gone out the window for one Samoan-Kiwi aiga (family) who will have split allegiances at this week's first All Black test in Apia.
The Hills from Auckland are among many rugby fans to make the trip over to Samoa to support their favourite team in black - or blue, depending on which member of the family you talk to.
Lupe Hill had originally considered wearing something black to go with her blue ensemble, paying tribute to her Samoan roots, to keep her mother-in-law happy.
But since her Kiwi husband, Warwick, and her mother-in-law, Helen Hill, had gone all out on their All Blacks supporters' outfits she decided to drop the black completely.
"I've got my Manu jersey and cap now. It's war," she laughed.
