All Blacks loose forward Adam Thomson will be fit to take on Ireland in the first test at Eden Park tomorrow, despite breaking his nose in training yesterday.
Thompson has been named on the bench but has no qualms about taking the field two days after teammate Brodie Retallick caused the injury in an accidental collision.
"I'll be all good, will take a little bit more than that to keep me out of an AB jersey," Thomson wrote on the social networking site Twitter.
"Lucky for me blood tends to go quite well with an All Blacks jersey."
And if Retallick's blow wasn't enough, Thomson was then the victim of some good-natured ribbing from fellow All Black Ali Williams.
