Seven players will be unavailable for France in the first rugby test against the All Blacks in Dunedin next month after the French domestic finalists were determined this morning.
Perpignan will play Clermont in the French Top 14 final at Paris this weekend, meaning those players won't fly to New Zealand with the bulk of the national squad this Wednesday.
Coach Marc Lievremont said any players involved in the final wouldn't be considered for the test at Carisbrook on June 13.
There are five forwards unavailable - Clermont's Thomas Domingo and Julien Bonnaire and Perpignan trio Guilhem Guirado, Nicholas Mas and Damien Chouly. The two backs involved in the final are Clermont's Aurelian Rougerie and Perpignan's Maxime Mermoz.
All squad members will be considered for the second test at Wellington on June 20.
Meanwhile, Lievremont was today forced to make a fourth selection change from his original squad, with Toulouse first five-eighth David Skrela forced out with a knee injury.
His place is taken by Stade Francais' Lionel Beauxis.
