Rugby: Muliaina to return early

A spot of down time has led to Mils Muliaina decision to play ITM Cup rugby for Waikato before the All Blacks end of year tour.

Muliaina was one of nine players originally slated to miss the domestic competition altogether.

However Muliaina says he had time to reflect in his post Tri-Nations break and set the wheels in motion a week ago.

He says he thought it was a good idea to keep playing rugby and keep his form up.

Mils Muliaina is targeting a return against either Otago or Manawatu.
