All Black captain Richie McCaw will undergo medical tests this week to determine his availability this weekend after being momentarily knocked out in the Crusaders' victory over the Blues on Saturday.
Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder said whether McCaw faced the Hurricanes in a crucial New Zealand Conference clash on Saturday depended on the results.
"There are a set of procedures that will be followed by a doctor and if he passes them he should be fine [to play]," Blackadder told Radio Sport.
"He looked pretty good in the sheds but we'll see how he rolls out," the Crusaders coach said.
