Dropped All Blacks flanker Chris Masoe has requested a release from his New Zealand Rugby Union contract, The Guardian reported today.
The British newspaper reported the 20 test All Black received his axing through a voice message and was so upset he immediately asked for a release from his contract, which runs until the end of the year.
Masoe said he would consider a move to Europe.
