Hurricanes midfielder Ma'a Nonu is in doubt for the opening match of the Junior All Blacks' campaign against Samoa in Apia on Sunday after he missed training at North Harbour Stadium today with ongoing groin trouble.
Coach Colin Cooper says he was always expecting a few problems to arise but has not changed plans. Cooper says Nonu is working with medical staff in the main All Blacks' squad.
There are also injury concerns hanging over Sam Tuitupou and Rudi Wulf, who were confined to gym work this morning.
