Doug Howlett is relishing the prospect of lining up in Munster colours against the All Blacks in November.
A midweek match between the Irish club side and the All Blacks was confirmed yesterday to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Munster's victory over the New Zealand in 1978.
The former All Black winger has been in outstanding form for the Heineken Cup finalists since joining them at the start of the year.
Howlett said he cannot escape talk of the last time the All Blacks played in Limerick.
He said every second person he runs into reminds him of that game in 1978.
Howlett said the stories he has heard are amazing and it seems like everyone in Ireland was actually at the game.
The match will be held in Limerick on November 18.
