The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union has moved swiftly to quash speculation that the fourth Bledisloe Cup test in Hong Kong will be shifted to another venue.
There have been concerns from the New Zealand and Australian Rugby Unions about the slow ticket sales for this year's event and there are rumours it could be moved to Europe, however in email correspondence, the HKRFU has issued a statement strongly denying the reports of a possible shift.
The statement acknowledges news reports regarding the Hong Kong Bledisloe Cup test, but says the match has definitely not been cancelled and will go ahead as planned at Hong Kong Stadium.
It's understood that less than 10,000 tickets have been sold for the test at the 40,000 seater Stadium in Hong Kong.
Radio Network commentator Nigel Yalden says there appear to be two major factors working against the game, the fact it is a dead rubber and that ticket prices are steep.
