KEY POINTS:
All Blacks great Grant Fox has joined Sky Television as a permanent member of its rugby commentary team.
He replaces former teammate John Drake, who died suddenly at his Mt Maunganui home last month.
Fox and Drake were members of the All Blacks team who won the 1987 World Cup.
Fox is regarded as an all-time great, the first five-eighth playing 46 tests from 1985 to 1993 and becoming the first All Black to score more than 1000 points.
His provincial career was no less impressive, with Fox scoring 4112 points in 303 first-class matches, most of them for Auckland.
He was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame in 2005.
