KEY POINTS:
All Black reject Jimmy Cowan has confirmed he has a couple of overseas offers on the table and is also in discussions with the NZRU over his future.
After missing selection in Graham Henry's initial 30 strong squad, the Highlanders halfback hopes to make a decision on his future by the end of the week.
He is in camp with the Junior All Blacks ahead of the Pacific Nations Cup.
Cowan admits he is gutted to miss out on the top squad, but Graham Henry has contacted him and told him why Brendon Leonard was given the nod ahead of him.
Cowan said he has been told he needs to work on his attacking game if he is to earn re-selection.
He said while it was disappointing to miss out, it is still a huge honour to be picked for the Juniors and he is looking forward to their campaign.
The first match for the Junior All Blacks is against Samoa in Apia this weekend.
