World Cup-winning All Black Cory Jane will remain part of New Zealand Rugby until the end of 2014.
The Hurricane announced his future via his Twitter account this evening when he tweeted: "Happy to say I've Just signed with the NZRU and Hurricanes till the end of 2014... Wellington's my home & I Still wanna be an All Black.."
Jane's retention is a major boost for the Hurricanes who have won two of their first three games this season under second-year head coach Mark Hammett.
Jane, 29, debuted for the Hurricanes in 2007 and has registered more than 50 appearances for the franchise, while he played his first test for the All Blacks in 2008.
