Springboks lock Lood de Jager has been suspended for one match for his dangerous charge on Wyatt Crockett in the Durban test match.
De Jager admitted the 72nd minute offence in the final round 2016 Rugby Championship game, where the All Blacks crushed the home side by 57 - 15.
Sanzaar judicial officer Adam Casselden said the offence had a low-end entry point of two weeks but he took into account the early plea and de Jager's excellent disciplinary record. De Jager, who came off the bench, had made a no arms charge on Crockett at a ruck.
De Jager will miss the Springboks clash against the Barbarians at Twickenham on November 5.
