KEY POINTS:
All Blacks utility Isaia Toeava is expected to start at first five-eighth in Auckland's Ranfurly Shield defence against Wellington on Saturday night.
Toeava is the only one of Auckland's All Blacks who has been released for the match.
Auckland coach Shane Howarth says he has yet to talk to Toeava about where he will play, but with regular No 10 Lachie Munro out for the season it is likely he will start at first-five.
Openside flanker Daniel Braid is still a chance of starting for Auckland on Saturday.
It was feared Braid would miss the much-anticipated match after twisting his ankle in the win over Bay of Plenty.
Howarth says they will make a decision on Braid's fitness later this week.
All Blacks Piri Weepu and Neemia Tialata are back for Wellington's challenge.
