All Blacks outside back Nehe Milner-Skudder can't seem to catch a break.
The 27-year-old was due to join the Māori All Blacks on their South American tour but yet another injury setback will mean he will be heading home.
Milner-Skudder – who has struggled with injuries over the last few years – suffered a shoulder injury during the All Blacks' 69-31 victory against Japan, ruling him out for the Māori All Blacks' matches against Brazil and Chile.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said the full nature of the injury was unknown.
Auckland's Jordan Trainer will replace Milner-Skudder in the Māori squad.
