All Blacks hooker Codie Taylor has had a busy week.
After helping the All Blacks defeat the Wallabies in Sydney last week, Taylor rushed home to Christchurch for the birth of his son Luca, to then return to train with the team ahead of Bledisloe Cup II at Eden Park on Saturday.
But Taylor, unsurprisingly, was in good spirits, admitting that he had the easy job.
"All credit goes to my partner Lucy. She's done an unreal job to hold off and I suppose keep her legs crossed for a week while I was in Sydney," said Taylor at the All Blacks team hotel in Auckland.
"We sort of worked out that if we could have the baby early this week, I could come back for the test and then I'll be home for a week next week to help out at home."
