There seems to be a common narrative developing among All Blacks opposition, 'if you can't beat them, throw their boots away.'
The latest act of frustration against the All Blacks came during their 36-17 win over Argentina yesterday, when Pumas halfback Santiago Iglesias tossed Anton Lienert-Brown's boot into touch following New Zealand's first try.
Iglesias had slipped off the tackle which led to New Zealand pulling out to a 10-0 lead, but held on tight enough to dislodge Lienert-Brown's boot, which he quickly discarded in an act of insolence.
The Puma's boot toss follows a similar act from Wallabies halfback Nick Phipps during his side's 29-9 loss to the All Blacks in August.
Phipps appeared to dislodge the left boot of All Blacks midfielder Malakai Fekitoa while tackling him low to the ground just outside the 22m line.
