12. Sonny Bill Williams - 7
Sleight of hand would be handy in a Las Vegas casino. Prepared to gamble his options which will be important against the Lions.
11. Julian Savea - 7
A night of classic finishing as his teammates rolled out the red carpet on left wing. A confidence-builder for coming weeks.
10. Beauden Barrett - 8
Looked rattled early, but chutzpah returned. Years sliding around 'Naki cowpats helped secure bobbling ball for 1st try.
9. Aaron Smith - 7
Energy gave his side impetus with snappy passing. Constant yapping hints at a future career as an air traffic controller.
8. Ardie Savea - 8
Bumbled scrum ball early. Try-saving tackle on Leiataua in 28th minute. Revelled in space later as All Blacks bulldozed.
7. Sam Cane - 7
Tackling passed muster with scrutiny around fringes. Stamina came into its own as the match wore on and opened up.
6. Jerome Kaino - 7
Grappled like Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania on occasion as he began another season of enforcement. Kept his standards up.
5. Sam Whitelock - 7
Looked like an angry, 120kg Shaggy out of Scooby-doo as he marauded. Quality lineout jumping and scrum intensity.
4. Brodie Retallick - 8
Body position immaculate - the usual steel spine which could hold up a warehouse roof. Late spell as skipper deserved.
3. Owen Franks - 7
Appeared to school the ref at one point as he clarified a ruling. Barreled around as his socks fought a losing battle with gravity.
2. Codie Taylor - 8
Involved in most facets in right place at right time. Accurate throwing. Looks ready to assume Dane Coles' spot next weekend.
1. Joe Moody - 8
Body position delivered significant gains in scrum and tackle. Headband looked like he was ready to go out on the piste.

Manu Samoa:
15. Ahsee Tuala - 6
Reliable custodian initially, but impossible to rail against a black tsunami in latter stanzas as opposition roamed at will.
14. Albert Nikoro - 6
Showed courage in his 52nd minute tackle of Retallick. Ball didn't get wide enough for him to play a pivotal attacking role.
13. Kieron Fonotia - 7
Spilt ball led to Barrett try but offered plenty of spirit, particularly taking the ball to the advantage line in the first half.
12. Alapati Leiua - 7
Never short of a strong burst or pulverising tackle, but threw a wobbly pass to butcher first-half try. Gave as good as he got.
11. Tim Nanai-Williams - 8
Impressive 7th minute wipers kick. Stood up his cuzzy, Sonny Bill, with a side step and acceleration to rival Bee Gee in his pomp.
10. Tusi Pisi - 5
Lacked the necessary flair to push the All Blacks to extremes. Looked vulnerable defensively at set piece and struggled for time.
9. Kahn Fotuali'i - 7
Led his side with courage and sharp passing, but they lacked the momentum to sustain it beyond the half hour mark.
8. Faifili Levave - 7
Plenty of tackling and a thirst for contact. Wins the night's Easter Island statue award as his team's most immovable object.
7. Fa'alemiga Selesele - 6
Struggled to reach the advantage line on occasion and looked a couple of steps behind the play at the breakdown contest.
6. Piula Fa'asalele - 5
Looked like Muhammad Ali rope-a-doping George Foreman in Zaire at times. Stumble in the concrete jungle of Eden Park.
5. Fa'atiga Lemalu - 6
Reliable lineout jumping early but hard to sustain as opposition began to exert such physical pressure at set piece.
4. Chris Vui - 5
Dreadlocks bounced like he was at a Bob Marley concert, but this Buffalo Soldier was dished some lessons in the tight.
3. Census Johnston - 5
Looked out of puff when he shuffled off after 50 minutes. As tighthead scrum anchor, he received a thorough bruising.
2. Manu Leiataua - 7
Support and drive play demonstrated limpet qualities. His fitness and heart to deliver a strong performance was emphatic.
1. Viliamu Afatia - 7
If Peter Fats was around he surely would have raised an eyebrow out of respect for this effort. Lifted well in lineout.
