12. Ngani Laumape - 8
Direct running and tireless tackling. Coach Hansen's instinct paid off. Perfect man to execute team plays.
11. Julian Savea - 7
Suffered 5th and 46th min dropsies but vigorous injections kept defenders honest. Looked at ease with Hurricanes' chums.
10. Beauden Barrett - 8
Pivotal display. Brilliant crosskicks released pressure and opened space. Looked in sync with brother Jordie.
9. Aaron Smith - 7
Deft passing kept his side advancing and leadership looked like it helped to keep Read's mind focused.
8. Kieran Read - 7
Hard running and uncompromising tackling as he became the seventh All Black to reach a test century.
7. Sam Cane - 7
Tenacious tackling made opposition shudder. Knocked on in 21st min as side lurched towards line but vital link overall.
6. Jerome Kaino - 6
Useful lineout takes and strength in tackle. Yellow card for swinging arm on Wyn Jones placed his side under heat.
5. Sam Whitelock - 7
Toiled with venom as he and Retallick, the Torville and Dean of the pack, repelled the Lions' consistent roar.
4. Brodie Retallick - 7
Drove through Lions lineout on occasion. Chassis in scrum but went too high on Williams for 59th min penalty.
3. Owen Franks - 7
Aggression and grit welcome in such tight circumstances. No backward steps as Lions committed to contact.
2. Codie Taylor - 6
Kept composed at lineout and scrum in such an intimidating cauldron. Continued to give fourth loose forward impression.
1. Joe Moody - 8
Powerful scrummaging. Slow roasting rotisserie of Furlong at times. Body position tracked forward on most occasions.

15. Liam Williams - 6
Close to milking 18th min penalty running into Dagg. Bumbled ball under pressure in 25th. Enjoyed some slinky moments.
14. Anthony Watson - 8
Tracked down Laumape in 13th min. Hands full marking Savea. Quicker than a Baby Boomer voting Brexit on occasion.
13. Jonathan Davies - 6
Struggled to create the opportunites of matches past. Odd injection kept ABs trekking backwards, as he has across series.
12. Owen Farrell - 8
Powerful all-round game, including strength in tackle and levelling penalty. Confidence gave Lions momentum.
11. Elliot Daly - 8
Pierre Villepreux-like 41st penalty inside own half. Earned sympathy facing Barrett brothers' circus act in 15th min.
10. Johnny Sexton - 8
Continued effective co-ordination. Kicked, passed and ran with aplomb. Shame his ankle strapping intervened.
9. Conor Murray - 8
Quality direction, as offered all tour. Extended reputation as box-kicking master and gave Sexton handy service.
8. Toby Faletau - 6
A bruising presence when he got a yard of room, but had a close watch on him most of the test. A cohesive force.
7. Sean O'Brien - 7
No lack of workrate but exited with shoulder injury at half time. Shame, because one of the tour's best.
6. Sam Warburton - 8
Strong tackles in melee. Seized turnover in 30th min isolating Jordie Barrett. Among best leaders in contemporary rugby.
5. Alun Wyn Jones - 6
Scrum was under All Blacks pressure. Was his back an iron rod? Took a 50th min Kaino hammering that resembled a KO.
4. Maro Itoje - 8
Top steals and on hand regularly at breakdown. Channelled ire of keyboard Lions incensed with rating last week.
3. Tadhg Furlong - 6
Struggled as scrum cornerstone at times. Still a mobile force around the field to give the All Blacks minimal room for creativity.
2. Jamie George - 7
Energy in support play and tackling. Throwing accurate but struggled at end. Difficulty hooking scrum ball at one stage.
1. Mako Vunipola - 7
Presented a threat when he got his mitts on the ball and stretched defensive rubber band. Ballistic lineout lifting.
